We offer an annual Whitewater Guide School for people interested in acquiring the skills to guide rafts on whitewater. Throughout the course, you will learn guiding techniques, become competent in all aspects of river running, meet amazing river folks with outdoor-minded interests, and enjoy many days on the river!

After completing this course, you will have the skills to competently navigate a raft and paddle crew down Class II and III whitewater.

Tahoe Whitewater’s Guide School is ideal for individuals interested in working in the outdoor industry and enjoying the outdoor lifestyle. Summer 2023 employment opportunities with Tahoe Whitewater are available after completing Guide School.
